Global Village Partnership
Gary and Linda Casady have served the Lord for more than 30 years, both in churches in the U.S. and on the mission field in Africa. Gary has a M. Div. degree from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, OR and served as associate pastor of Christian Education in two churhces before they went to Africa to serve with Africa Inland Mission, International in training national church leadership in remote locations. The last five years they were under the Method- Plan A. commit to training new missionary personnel. Gary and Linda returned to the U.S. in 2000 and now live in Dalles Oregon. They have now joined Mission Link International in setting up a ministry location in Oregon.
 
The Vision
Facilitating partnerships for the building up of the worldwide body of Christ (Eph. 4:1-6).
To encourage and equip nationals in economically poor countries as they do the work of ministry.
To challenge, inspire and revive faith within the churches of America
 
The Goal
We hope to network Kingdom-living believers in the US with godly men and women in ministry in the developing world in partnership of mutual edification toward knowing and serving the Lord. It involves prayer, correspondence, visits, financial contributions, and consultations on a long-term basis in order to engender the establishment of trust and relationships that will enhance the spiritual growth of participants on both sides of the “global village.”
 
The Method
Plan A: A group of believers commits to partner with a particular indigenous ministry; The Casadys facilitate a partnership with that ministry until it is well established.
Plan B: The Casadys arrange a “short-term mission trip” to a particular ministry with individuals from different places. After visiting this ministry, some from this group commit to a long-term partnership facilitated by the Casadys.
Plan C: God’s sovereign creativity takes over.
