"We are free, we shall always be so" Peru is a country in South America that borders Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Boliva, Chile and Pacific Ocean. The word Peru is derived from Biru, the name of one of the local ruler who lived in Bay of San Miguel, Panama.
