Goes Home to the Lord

 

MLI has lost a very dear friend but heaven has gained a wonderful saint. I had tremendous respect & love for this man of God. He cared for me as if I was his son. He also was one of the most trusted Africans I have ever known. To say that I will miss JOHN is an understatement. In his closing years his health continued to grow worse. MLI’s general fund covered his medical/transportation needs, & at times even the medical concerns of his wife. John was extremely grateful that MLI helped fund the rebuilding of his home.

 

MLI has lost a dear friend and partner in ministry.  About six (6) years ago, he accepted the Lord. His life visibly changed and he became a faithful member of Mission Link Christian Church. Yet as I grieve our lose I am very confident I will see him again. “Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live. Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’” John 11:25-26 CSB. In the midst of tears, we celebrate with John as he stands before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords giving thanks for God’s wonderful mercy and grace
