Below is a sample list of shots for East Africa. ​The Yellow Fever shot is mandatory and required for several countries including Uganda. There presently is a lifetime shot for Yellow Fever. Shot cards are examined at port of entry, so keep it with your passport. NOTE: Several shots below may not be necessary, so check with the health department or travel clinic. You may need to update several shot like: Tetanus/Diphtheria. Also, shot prices may differ depending on your location and clinic. Also, a copy of your shot card with the Yellow Fever stamp will be needed for ticketing. If you need or decide to get the Hep-B shots, give yourself enough time before the trip to received a series of three shots.
