Ephrance Namugaya

How husband died: Husband died of Hernia in 1975.

Challenges: Old age sometimes makes it difficult to work in the garden; provision for personal needs are insufficient and medical needs

Nagudi Saidha (IS ADOPTED)

Nagudi Saidha is 65 years old. Her husband died October 2010 of HIV leaving her HIV Positive with 4 children.

Testimonial: Saidha was a Muslim but accepted the Lord while fellowshipping with the widows MLI widows in Mafubira. Saidha thanks God for Mission Link for taking good care of her through basic necessities like water filters, cooking charcoal stoves, spiritual fellowship with widows. Because of these encouragements she feels a sense of belonging and full of hope. 

Challenges: Saidha is still renting where she stays and where she does some farming. One of the children is dumb and paying schools is a challenge for her. Treatments with ARVS is accessible but additional medicines is challenge.

Irene Nakaziba

Irene Nakaziba was born October 16, 1959 having 5 children. Her husband died in 1993 leaving Irene HIV positive. Irene was saved after the death of husband in December of 1999. She fellowships with redeemed church in Mafubira under Pastor George Kasharu. Thanksgiving: Irene thanks God for keeping her for over 25 years while HIV positive and thanks Mission Link International for taking care of her. MLI has brought joy to her life and has added a smile to her face.  Irene is grateful to God because is staying in her own house and not renting. Irene has 3 grand children under her care. Challenges: Irene is challenged with children's school fees and general basic needs of life (food, medication, etc.). She also lacks a job.
